Started out late, but made up for the tardiness with excellent service and good product replacement worth every penny. I would hire again special thanks to Jorge. Jorge was my tech (Plummer)

The price quoted was outrageous $4,000. I hired another firm who completed the entire job for $495.00.....unbelievable.....

We've only had our estimated today. We did hire this company though. Work will not be performed til sept.16th.

Really just great. One section of my apartment’s electricity wasnt working and i wasnt sure if it was a fuse or my crappy wiring job. Austin came out, diagnosed, quoted and banged out the job as a professional should. No upsells, just facts and work. Would use again. And yes it was my crappy wiring job, not the fuse.

I had an issue with the doorbell not ringing and was charged $293.25 to reconnect a loose wire in the home which took all but ten minutes. I was connected to Bacon Plumbing through a third-party source. I had a great experience with Desiree who explained that this was nothing uncommon. I agreed to a $39.99 trip charge. She was very pleasant. The service tech was also pleasant. The issue I have is due to a lack of understanding of the mechanics of a doorbell works, I only checked the wires on the outside neglecting the wires inside the home. Once the tech checked outside with a voltmeter and found power, he immediately checked the box where the sound was emitted from. Instantly we both saw a dangling wire. He reattached the wire - problem solved. He magnanimously agreed to waive the trip charge instead of $293.25 total charge. Essentially, I was charged between $897.75 and $1759.50/hr. I was promised a call back to discuss the charges which to date has not happened.

Kory and the folks at Bacon did a great job of communicating, the work itself and taking care to clean up after themselves.

The project went well. They did everything that was detailed in the contract. They provided many pics of the tunnel that was dug to access and replace the sewer line located beneath the foundation. They even matched the pebbled floor of the patio. They used the patio as the place to start digging. All digging was done by hand. The enormous pile of clay dirt was impressive. When completed, they hand packed the tunnel with the dirt. They used about 80% of the total dirt that was removed. The city engineer said that that was typical and that there were no issues with the foundations stability. However, on reflection, I did not consider other plumbers nor did I get a second or third opinion. The total cost was just over $22,000. I think that I was led to believe that this was critical and needed immediate work. The sewer drain had no issues with plugging or any other problems. The original call was to replace the laundry washer drain pipe. We had purchased new washer and dryer. Our 50 year old house had a drain pipe that was not large enough to accommodate the much more powerful washer water pump. The water would back up and run on the floor. The company did replace the drain pipe but also sent a TV camera down the entire sewer line to check on the flow from the washer. It was then that they showed me that the cast iron sewer drain was crumbling. They were very good at emphasizing the immediacy of repair, even though I did not have any drainage difficulties except for the washer drain pipe. They offered a subscription to service other appliances such as the heating and A/C. The word subscription and monthly charge were never mentioned. High pressure and “discounts” flew through the air and I was taken in. I lost the big picture as in “am I having drain problems other than the laundry?” Of course I didn’t. The sense of urgency that they projected blinded me to the possibilities of other opinions. They did a good job, cleaned everything so they left no trace that they were there. I found that the average price in my area for cast iron drain pipe is $15,000. They are VERY PRICEY. Did they do $7000 worth of extras that other plumbers would not have done? I don’t know, but those extras are not obvious.

The technicians arrived on time and had the repair completed in less time than I expected. They were super friendly, polite and professional. Customer service was great as well. I let customer service know that I was pressed for time and they communicated this information to the technicians, which I appreciated. I was happy with the entire process.

I was given a quote $722 to repair 3 sockets, one that showed it had burned. I thought was high. He ask me what I thought it would cost. I budgeted $500 for all three. He changed the quote to $535 all 3. Note I put in a new socket myself in one of the rooms. He repaired the one that was burnt. That fixed the other 2 because they were on the same circuit. However he still charged me &536 to fix one socket. After checking around that was extremely high. I would not recommend this company.

Excellent! I exclusively use Bacon for my HVAC and plumbing needs. I've had the same tech the past couple of times and he is great. They go above and beyond to please their customers.

I do not recommend this company for anything. Avoid Bacon plumbing, electrical, hvac, drains, roofing and whatever else they tell you they know how to do. If they do this type of work on a commercial property I can only imagine what they would do at your house. I complained about the unprofessional job they did with foil tape so they came back and put a boot on like they should have done from the beginning. The only problem is that underneath that foil tape they put in a screw that penetrated the roof membrane which when removed turned into a roof leak. This was the second roof leak that they caused and refused to pay for the repairs. They also recommended a 21k sewer line replacement which after getting a second opinion turns out did not need to be done. They talk a good game and will beat you over the head about how great they are but while they may have fancy trucks and a cool slogan, behind the facade of maketing is poor workmanship and a lack of eithics.

Quick response initially, provided all info prior to contact- after pics were sent and contact was made we suddenly were "out of the service area". I don't understand why it's so hard to find a plumber in dfw that actually will work for money. My guess is everyone including you want the "fix a running toilet" call for $600 vs jobs where you actually need to plumb walls and such to get water into places it needs to go. Pathetic

I saw a drip coming down from the ceiling, hitting my wood floor and I immediately knew that my water heater was about to expire. Right away, I went through Angie's List to request an emergency repair and Bacon responded by phone in about 10 minutes. I spoke with a very friendly and personable dispatcher and she told me they would have a technician out as soon as possible. Within about 90 minutes, the technician, Mario Cisneros, arrived and assessed the issue and provided several options for replacement. He left to order parts and get an assistant to help him with the installation. After a few hours of very hot work up in my attic, it was replaced and in perfect working order. Mario and his assistant were outstanding, friendly, and personable and explained what was going to be done every step of the way. I could not be more pleased with the results. Fantastic job! I highly recommend Bacon Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric (and Roofing) for all of your related needs!!
